To ensure that the local government and bomba know how to perform CPR together with AED. We providing the user training to them at Tanjung Manis Airport.

So, we brought 1 set of Nihon Kohden AED 3100K Trainer Set together with 3 set of Nihon Kohden AED 3100K and its batteries, AED Ultra Trainer and CPR manikin.

As mentioned, we going to teach them how to CPR by using CPR manikin and use AED by Nihon Kohden AED 3100K Trainer Set. Yet, We explain the property of N.K AED 3100K, how long does its battery lasts, and how often to change the AED pads.

How to Perform CPR on Baby?

“If you are alone with the infant, please give 2 minutes of CPR before calling 999. “

The proper steps for performing CPR on infant:

  1. Response
    Tickle the foot bottom to elicit a response. If there is no response and not breathing, position the infant on his or her back and begin CPR.
  2. Airway
    Open the airway by using a head tilt lifting of chin to check if there is any foreign body stuck in the throat.
  3. Breathing
    When the airway is open, check for the breathing for 10 seconds. Be prepared to start CPR, if the infant breathing abnormally or not at all.
  4. CPR
    Give 30 gentle chest compressions at the rate of 100-120/minute. Use two or three fingers in the middle of the chest just below the nipples. Press down approximately 1/3 the depth of the chest.
  5. Give 2 Gentle Breaths
    If the baby stills not breathing or not breathing normally, cover your mouth over the baby’s mouth and nose and give 2 gentle breaths. You should see the baby’s chest rise with each breath.
