What is WRAH – or World Restart A Heart Day? It is a day that intended to raise the awareness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) that will occur every year on 16 October.
WRAH Primary Goals:
– Increase cardiac arrest awareness
– Increase bystander CPR rates worldwide
Sudden cardiac arrest is the third leading cause of death worldwide. If you see someone collapsed and is not breathing normally, call for the emergency services and start CPR, pressing hard and fast on the center of the chest.
Learn how to save a life and ensure those around you learn as well. It only takes two hands to save a life!
